Sports:
Most of the human achievements are possible only if a person
is physically healthy. The School feels that only a healthy mind can work
towards progressive growth. Harmony in physical, mental, spiritual and
psychological personality of the individual is an important aspect. All the
School programmes strengthen the inter dependence of these personalities of a
child. Stamina building exercises, basketball, badminton, volleyball, kho-kho,
callisthenics, gymnastics and tae-kwondo have been integrated in the School
curriculum to achieve these
ends. Indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom and
Chinese checkers are a part of their indoor activities.Aerobic exercises, yogic
exercises and meditation form the link between the physical growth and
spiritual growth.
Tae-Kwondo
In today's world it is absolutely essential to learn this
technique of self defence. Students right from class nursery are being trained
in this art form.
Mini- Tennis
Special coaching in Mini-Tennis is given to students during
their educational period.
Skating
The children not only love to run and play but also love to
dance and skate. Special coaching is given to our students by professional
coaches to develop skating skills.
Yoga
Yoga helps in improving one's health and physical fitness.
It has multidimensional potential for the growth of the overall personality of
a child. It has been found that the creativity of students can be nurtured
through yoga by cultivating the habit of concentration. Special yoga classes
are being conducted in the School to improve the mental and physical fitness of
students.
Nursery Education
A home away from home, the Junior wing is a supplement to
the home and not a substitute. The first five years of life are vitally
important in laying the foundations of character and personality. Keeping this
fact in view, the School is fully equipped to cater to the developmental needs
of growing children. This being the child's first exposure to a large school,
our Orimary aim is to make him/her feel happy, secure and loved, and in the prc,Ncess make !earning an exciting, happy experience.
The best of Montessori, Kindergarten, Playway Method and
other such activities as required by social and cultural needs of the society
have been adopted and adapted for the Pre-Primary School. These students have
their own assembly, programmes for self-expression, a play activity area,
educational outings to the Zoological Park, Railway Museum etc. and their very
own cultural activities built around festivals.
Toy room and multiactivity room. For students from nursery
to class II a special room has been designed where they can pursue activities
of their choice and interest. It helps to tap their inherent talents. The
Multimedia room and The CD. library is an added facility.
